Incidents happen, and I don’t fault them for that. But the value of an RCA is in the transparency and detail it provides, and I hope that going forward, as they continue to mature under Microsoft’s umbrella, they hold themselves to the same standard Azure sets for its own postmortems. Customers deserve to know not just what happened, but why, and what’s changing to prevent it from happening again.
